The Party’s Over?

Politics-as-usual lost. Politics-as-digital won. This is a watershed moment in America. The old model of one-for-many (all-powerful political Parties with entrenched infrastructures) is passing. The new model is many-for-one (power from grassroots social networks of people in support of a candidate).

The Party is dead. Long live the party.

  1. What does one call power from grassroots social networks of people in support of a candidate initiated, directed and managed by an all-powerful political party with entrenched infrastructures funded by money from unseen lobbyists and naïve blades of grass?

  2. One calls it paranoia. The people have spoken.
